🚨 Potential Strike Alert! 🚨

Heads up, folks! Around 200,000 dedicated council and school workers in England and Wales might soon be heading for the picket line. The big issue? A 3.3% pay offer they say just doesn’t cut it after years of taking on more work for less reward. This affects our teaching assistants, social workers, waste collectors, housing officers, and even librarians!

Why now? Because with pay lagging behind inflation, it’s tougher than ever for councils and schools to keep their staff. These everyday heroes have supported us through thick and thin, and they believe it’s high time for fair wages and respect.
Unison is leading the charge, with ballots open until early August. Nobody wants to strike, but if the offer doesn’t improve, industrial action could hit as soon as this autumn. 🤞 There’s still time for a resolution!
Stay tuned for updates, and show some love for those fighting for fairness. Let’s hope for a positive outcome for everyone involved! 💪 #SupportOurWorkers #FairPayNow #CommunityFirst
