Exciting news for rugby fans! 🌍🏉 Five England rugby stars, including Henry Pollock, are being eyed up to join Team GB for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics! Known for his flair and character on the field, Pollock might ditch his 15-a-side jersey for the sevens squad. 🏅
Pollock’s not alone; teammates Marcus Smith, Tommy Freeman, Henry Arundell, and Noah Caluori are also in talks to make the switch. The move could mean stepping back from traditional matches to prep for Olympic glory.
Welsh speedster Louis Rees-Zammit and Scotland sensation Darcy Graham could join the mix, bringing their electric pace to the grand stage. This ambition mirrors France’s Antoine Dupont, who successfully juggled both formats and clinched gold in 2024.
Team GB is no stranger to success, with a silver win at Rio 2016. However, they missed out on the 2024 tournament, so this new crop of talent might just change their fortunes. 🌟
Stay tuned for more updates! Will we see these stars shine in LA? Only time will tell! #RugbySevens #TeamGB #Olympics2028 #RugbyUnion
