A dramatic scene unfolded on the A489 between Newtown and Kerry as a woman found herself in hot water after a crash. 🚗💥 The 38-year-old was taken to hospital for medical attention, but the story didn’t end there…
Authorities arrived at the single-vehicle collision on Sunday, 17th May, around 1.10pm. Upon investigation, the woman was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving. It’s a timely reminder of the dangers and legal consequences of drinking and driving. 🚔
The police are continuing their investigation to piece together exactly what happened. The road had to be closed temporarily to clear the debris, so if you were in the area and experienced some delays, now you know why!
Stay safe out there and remember, even a single drink can impair your driving and land you in a world of trouble. More updates to follow as the investigation progresses.
