🎯 Gerwyn Price: Health Concerns, Darts Drama & A New Pool Adventure! 🎱
Hey darts fans! It looks like Gerwyn Price, our very own Welsh wonder and 2021 world champ, is navigating some choppy waters. Lately, he’s been battling health issues and hinted at needing a little breather from the game. After a tough Premier League loss in Leeds, he opened up about feeling off his game health-wise, but he’s still hoping to make it to the play-offs at the O2 Arena on May 28. 🤞
In a surprising twist, Price announced that he’s bowing out of the World Cup of Darts—no health worries there, just a personal choice. Meanwhile, he’s been charming the world with ventures like his booming fish and chips shop, Chippy 501, in Markham—and no, it’s not just a nod to his winning ways on the darts stage! 🐟🍟
But wait, there’s more! The Iceman is diving into the UK Open Pool Championship later this month in Brentwood. With a wildcard entry, he’s promised to give it his all and isn’t just there to fill up the roster. Talk about juggling passions! 🎱✨
Despite whispers about a possible darts hiatus, Price is clear about his commitment to snag more trophies over the next decade. Watch this space—he’s not done yet! 🏆
