🏉 Exciting times at Blaenavon RFC! The club has made the bold decision to withdraw from Division 1 East with immediate effect, and they’ll be starting anew in Division 6 next season. 🔄
Their latest move, dubbed ‘Project Reset’, focuses on nurturing local talent from their junior section. The decision was influenced by challenges with player availability and the club’s aim to build a stronger, locally grounded team. 🌟
With six losses out of seven games this season, the shift is seen as a fresh start to revitalise the club’s culture and foster long-term sustainability. Blaenavon RFC aims to create a powerful platform for youth players, helping them transition smoothly into senior rugby. 🏉🚀
The club’s sights are set on commitment and togetherness, with hopes that this step will lead to a more sustainable future where Blaenavon RFC shines, thanks to the dedicated efforts of players, coaches, volunteers, and community support. 💪
A heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who has backed them through this journey—your dedication truly matters. Let’s look forward to an exciting new chapter filled with growth, development, and rugby that we can all be proud of! 🙌
