Wales kicked off their summer with a thrilling 1-1 draw against Ghana at Cardiff City Stadium. It was a night of ups and downs, but our boys put on a solid show!
🔴 Lewis Koumas stole the spotlight by scoring late to secure the draw, following in his father’s iconic footsteps. It was a heroic moment after we initially fell behind from Caleb Yirenkyi’s goal.
⭐ Star of the night, Neco Williams, was a defensive powerhouse and created the magical assist for the equaliser. He wasn’t alone though; the team showed up with some standout performances:
– Karl Darlow bounced back from an early error to make crucial saves. 💪
– Joe Rodon and Dylan Lawlor were reliable at the back, with Lawlor’s deep passes catching everyone’s eye. 🎯
– Daniel James was a livewire upfront, almost breaking the deadlock twice. ⚡️
– Cameron Congreve impressed on his senior debut, delivering some splendid crosses. 👏
The bench provided fresh legs and energy, with Nathan Broadhead and Chris Mepham making notable contributions. Big shout-out to Kai Andrews for earning his debut cap! 🙌
