The crime took place on February 25, earlier this year, but thanks to forensic evidence, the police were able to quickly link Tannetta to the scene. He was soon back in the dock at Cardiff Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

This isn’t Tannetta’s first brush with the law, though. At just 22, he was involved in a notorious burglary spree across Cardiff, targeting eight homes and swiping the keys to expensive cars. His luck ran out when a dramatic police chase ended with him going head-on into a metal fence. He was handed a 24-month prison sentence and a three-year driving disqualification.

Now, Tannetta’s back inside, sentenced to three more years in prison for his latest crimes. 🚔🔒

Stay safe, Cardiff! Remember to keep your homes secure and car keys out of sight. These incidents remind us all to be vigilant. If you spot something suspicious, don’t hesitate to report it. 🏡🔑
