🏉 Welsh Rugby Highlights 🏉
Exciting times for Welsh rugby fans! Max Llewellyn dazzled as he helped Gloucester secure a spot in the Investec Champions Cup, hammering Newcastle Red Bulls 54-21. Missing the Six Nations due to injury, Llewellyn made a powerful comeback, scoring two tries and setting up another two. With Louie Hennessey benched due to injury, will Llewellyn secure his place in the Wales starting XV for the Nations Cup against Fiji? Fingers crossed! 🤞
Meanwhile, Tomas Francis faced heartbreak. His Provence side narrowly missed the Pro D2 title, losing 18-14 to Vannes. But the season isn’t over yet! They have an access match against USA Perpignan for a chance at promotion to the Top 14. Vannes are celebrating their deserved promotion after an impressive season. As for Francis, he’s set to pack his bags for the Sale Sharks next season but will hope to end his French stint on a high.
Leinster fans, rejoice! After a heated battle with the Stormers, Leinster secured their spot in the United Rugby Championship Grand Final. Despite a second-half scuffle and Andrew Porter’s injury, they clinched a hard-fought 20-11 victory. Can they hold their ground in the final round? 🏆
Stay tuned, the rugby season is heating up! 🌟🏉
