🌊 Splashtastic News, Swansea! 🌞
Blackpill Lido, our beloved family water attraction, is FINALLY reopening! After being out of action since May due to some unfortunate setbacks, including stolen sprinklers and flooring issues, the lido is back and ready for summer fun starting this Tuesday at 10am! 🏖️
The council has worked hard to repair and upgrade the lido. With new sprinklers and a fresh, safe surface, it’s all systems go. Perfect timing as the heatwave hits, so gather your crew and enjoy free splash-tastic days right by the seafront. No need to book, just pop in anytime between 9am and 5pm daily until the end of September. 🌞💧
And while you’re there, why not drop by The Junction Café next door? They’re open every day too, from 9am to 5pm. ☕🍰
A big thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during the downtime. The council is thrilled to welcome everyone back for a summer packed with wet and wild fun! 🎉
So, who’s ready to make a splash? 💦 Tell your friends, grab your swim gear, and let’s get back to enjoying one of Swansea’s most loved locales! See you at the lido! 🏊♀️👙
