Exciting news for Swansea! 🚴♂️💨 Get ready for a brand-new riverside cycle path and e-bike hire scheme coming your way! 🌊✨

Swansea’s River Tawe is set to become a haven for cyclists and walkers with a multi-million-pound shared-use path lining the west bank. Expected to roll out in phases over the next three years, this project will beautifully connect the city centre with Swansea.com Stadium and Morfa Retail Park. Talk about a scenic commute!

With a hefty £8.25m budget, this path is part of a broader transport project backed by the Welsh and UK Governments. Also on the cards are road safety improvements on the speedy A484, featuring new speed cameras, enhanced markings, and better signage. 🛣️⚠️

But wait, there’s more! An exciting e-bike hire scheme is set to kick off too! 🚲🔋 With 500 bikes available, it’s perfect for zipping around town, reducing car trips, and complementing public transport.
Also joining the 2026-27 lineup is a drainage scheme at flood-prone Killay Square, a new path linking Ffordd Beck, and an upgrade on the Dunvant-Gowerton route. Plus, electric vehicle charge points are popping up around town! ⚡🚗
