🏉 Rugby Round-Up 🏉
Tears and Triumphs! A powerful image of Japan’s Harry Hockings in tears is making the rounds. His late-game penalty handed the win to Wales over Japan, and he’s feeling the weight: “I can’t help but blame myself. I need to switch gears and look forward.”
Meanwhile, former England star Ben Youngs believes New Zealand is “very beatable,” despite Wales’ recent struggles. Youngs draws parallels between England’s past wins, suggesting Wales’ victory over Japan could spark a new streak. Even after England’s triumph over the All Blacks, challenging them remains tough. Will Wales seize the opportunity in Cardiff?
In youth rugby, Wales U19s showed heart in a close 26-19 loss to France. Despite the defeat, the young squad delivered stellar performances with standout tries from Joseff Jones and Tom Howe. Up next, they face England at home in December—a chance to sharpen their skills further.
