🐑🏉 From Farm to Field: Meet Wales U20s Rugger Prodigy Jac Pritchard! 🏉🐑
Growing up amidst the rolling hills and mooing cows of Carmarthenshire, Jac Pritchard has turned his farming roots into a rugby powerhouse! 🌾💪 Balancing life on the family dairy farm in Llandybie with the intense demands of the rugby field, Pritchard is not your average tighthead prop. Armed with grit and brawn honed by years of farm chores, he’s a key player for the Wales U20s and a force at the scrum. ⚡
Daily life for Jac involves milking cows and feeding calves, but he’s got his eyes firmly set on rugby glory! “The farm work is my secret training ground,” Jac shares. “While others hit the gym, I’m building my strength sorting silage and lifting bales.” 🏋️♂️
Jac’s journey from Llandybie RFC to the Scarlets academy is nothing short of inspiring. Under the guidance of top coach Euros Evans and gaining experience at Cardiff Met and Llandovery, he’s stepped up to dominate the scrum. His dedication and unique training methods have earned him comparisons to legends like Samson Lee. 🙌
Next challenge? Facing Ireland’s U20s pack at Musgrave Park! After a nail-biting start against England and France, Jac and the team are fired up and ready to make their mark on the international stage. “We’re a tight group on and off the pitch, ready to tackle any opposition,” says Jac confidently. 🇮🇪🤝
Beyond his stellar rugby skills, Jac’s story is about family, community, and the spirit of Welsh rugby. From early morning cattle calls to late-night matches, his family has been his backbone, and he takes every match as a tribute to them. 🏠❤️
