Cardiff City pulled off a nail-biting 4-3 victory over Doncaster Rovers, with young sensation Cian Ashford stealing the spotlight! 🌟 Manager Brian Barry-Murphy couldn’t stop singing his praises, saying Cian “carried” the team when it mattered most.
Ashford left fans in awe with a stunning solo goal – picking up the ball 30 yards out, weaving past defenders, and scoring with finesse. His brilliance didn’t stop there; he set up Joel Bagan for the winning strike in the 99th minute! Talk about clutch! ⚽️💥
With the Bluebirds sitting pretty at the top of League One, it wasn’t all rosy; the team still has room for improvement. Despite conceding three goals at home and feeling the Doncaster pressure, City’s resilience shone through. 🏆
Barry-Murphy acknowledged, “We didn’t have perfect control, yet found a way to win. The lads showed great quality and perseverance.”
