🚨 Big news for Welsh rugby fans! Cardiff Rugby’s rising star, Tom Bowen, has decided to stay right where he belongs! 🇬🇧🏉
The 19-year-old winger, who has been on fire this season, has signed a long-term deal with the Blue and Blacks, committing his future to the iconic Arms Park. Despite interest from the French heavyweights La Rochelle, Bowen’s heart is set on Cardiff. 💙🖤
Already turning heads in the rugby world, Bowen made his mark with a hat-trick against Munster and has tallied 10 tries in just 14 matches this season. His impressive form also shone through in the recent Six Nations, where he dotted down twice for Wales U20s. 🌟
Bowen expressed his excitement over the new contract saying, “Playing for this team means so much. As someone who’s come through the academy, pulling on the famous blue and black jersey never gets old. The Arms Park crowd is motivating, and I’m thrilled to keep pushing forward with such high-quality teammates around me.” 🙌
Coach Corniel van Zyl echoed the excitement, “We’re delighted Tom is staying. His finishing ability is something special, and he’s eager to learn and improve. He’s a big part of our future.”
