📬 Big changes are coming to your post! Royal Mail is shaking things up with its 2nd class delivery service. 🚫 No more Saturday deliveries, starting in 2026! From now on, your 2nd class letters and cards will arrive every other weekday: think Monday, Wednesday, Friday one week, and Tuesday, Thursday the next. 📅
Why the change? According to Royal Mail, it’s all about providing a service that’s more in tune with today’s needs, as fewer letters are being sent. The plan is to keep your post arriving within three working days, even with these new delivery patterns. So, for instance, if you post on a Thursday, expect delivery by the next Tuesday!
But don’t worry, the classic one-price-goes-anywhere service and 1st class letter delivery will still be available six days a week. Parcels? They’ll keep arriving up to seven days! 📦
With these updates, Royal Mail aims to stay dependable and eco-friendly, as they continue connecting us all. Thanks for your patience during this shift!
