🎥🔥 Nigel Owens is seeing red! The legendary rugby referee turned farmer is taking on the “do-gooders” and “so-called experts” after an incident on his farm involving some mischievous magpies.

🌿 Out on his lush Pontyberem farm, Nigel, who now dedicates his time to his first love—farming—is passionate about preserving nature. But when a pair of magpies destroyed a little bird’s nest in his barn, he couldn’t stay silent.
🐦📈 In a video shared online, Nigel revealed the nest’s destruction, blaming rising magpie numbers for threatening songbird populations. He argues that their unchecked growth is a serious issue, causing harm to other bird species by raiding nests.

📜 According to Nigel, when magpie numbers were controlled, songbirds thrived. But now, with increased numbers, the tables have turned. He contends it’s time for action to keep the magpie population in check, allowing smaller birds their fair chance.
💬 “Magpies do play their part in our wildlife,” Nigel admits, “but without managing their numbers, our beloved songbirds suffer.” He’s urging those who defend unregulated magpie populations to consider the broader impact on countryside biodiversity.

🗣️ Nigel’s message is clear: “If you truly love the countryside, recognise the need for balance.” So what do you think? Is it time to restore nature’s balance, or should magpies roam free?
