🔥 Louis Rees-Zammit dazzles in new position! 🔥
If you missed the Bristol Bears’ latest clash, you missed a masterclass from Louis Rees-Zammit! The young Welsh star, traditionally known for his wing wizardry, took centre stage at full-back—and what a show he put on in their nail-biting 27-26 victory over the Newcastle Red Bulls at Ashton Gate.
Rees-Zammit wasn’t just good; he was electric! He carved up the defence for a breathtaking solo try and delivered a crucial assist that swung the momentum right back in Bristol’s favour. For his second try, he left defenders grasping air with footwork that had fans out of their seats!
And this makes it eight tries since returning from his NFL adventure—yes, you read that right—NFL! He’s proving himself an unstoppable force and catching the eye of more than just fans. With the Six Nations just around the corner, you can bet Wales’ coach Steve Tandy is keeping a close watch.
Why, you ask? Because this isn’t just a positional experiment; it’s a revelation! Rees-Zammit is proving to be a rare gem with a mix of power, speed, and aerial prowess that could be the X-factor Wales needs. His form could redefine how Wales approaches the coveted full-back position for the upcoming championship.
