🎉 Big news for Wrexham fans! 🎉
The FA Cup magic continues as Wrexham is set to face Chelsea in the last-16 knockout! After a thrilling 1-0 win over Ipswich Town, the anticipation is through the roof, especially with Hollywood star and Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds’ priceless reaction to the draw. Watching alongside fellow actor Hugh Jackman, Reynolds was left nearly speechless, exclaiming, “Yes. What the ****?” as he realised Wrexham would host the Premier League giants at the Racecourse Ground. 😂
In a clip shared on social media, Jackman teased Reynolds: “That’s what you wanted!” and it seems the excitement is truly contagious. With a historic FA Cup on the line, Wrexham fans can hardly wait to see if they can pull off another incredible upset, especially considering manager Phil Parkinson’s past success against Chelsea.
In 2014, Parkinson’s Bradford City produced a stunning 4-2 comeback against the Blues. Could Wrexham replicate such magic? We sure hope so! ⚽
Back in the ’80s, Wrexham last played Chelsea in a competitive setting, and while Chelsea got the better then, the Dragon faithful are hoping for a different outcome this time around. With the buzz around Wrexham’s Hollywood-led revival, who knows what surprises the FA Cup has in store?
After all, history is often made when least expected, and this spirited Wrexham side is ready to write their fairy tale. Here’s to dreaming big! 🍀👊
Stay tuned for more updates as excitement builds and the countdown to the big day begins! Let us know your predictions in the comments. Can Wrexham topple the Blues?
