Exciting times for the Scarlets! 🏉 They’re on the brink of adding a powerhouse to their squad with the potential signing of Kiwi lock Tom Allen from the Hurricanes. After a mixed season, the Scarlets are determined to bolster their front-five, and Allen could be the perfect fit. At just 21, this 6ft 6in dynamo from New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship is known for his fierce physicality and impressive ball-carrying skills.
Already a former New Zealand U20s international, Allen could join the Scarlets alongside other recent signings like the promising Harvey Cuckson from Bath and South African giant Alex Groves. With Cullen Grace from the Crusaders already confirmed, plus extending Sam Lousi’s contract, the Scarlets are shaping up to have a formidable pack for the upcoming season.
But that’s not all! They’ve also snapped up hookers John McKee and George Roberts, as well as Welsh international Corey Domachowski from Cardiff. The loss of stars like Jake Ball and Max Douglas means the new recruits will have big boots to fill.
With an electrifying backline including players like Sam Costelow and Joe Hawkins, the Scarlets are aiming for a thrilling season. Can this revamped forward pack provide the platform for success? Only time will tell, but fans have every reason to be hopeful! 🏆🔴
