🏉 Big Moves in Rugby! 🏉
Cardiff Rugby fans, we’ve got some exciting news for you! Ethan Lewis, the talented hooker, is making a comeback to Cardiff on a short-term loan from the Ospreys. With Liam Belcher out due to injury, Ethan’s return couldn’t have come at a better time. Already familiar with the team, he’s set to join Daf Hughes and Evan Lloyd in vying for that No. 2 shirt. Cardiff’s coach, Corniel van Zyl, is thrilled, saying Ethan’s arrival is crucial as they tackle a packed fixture list this season. Welcome back, Ethan! 🔵⚪️
In other news, Ireland faces a setback as Mack Hansen will be missing the upcoming Six Nations after foot surgery. This unfortunate development follows a challenging year for Hansen, who missed both the Lions Tests and much of the club season. Connacht hasn’t set a return date yet, but recovery is expected to take months.
And over in England, Saracens are beefing up their ranks with the signing of England lock George Martin from Leicester Tigers. Known for his imposing presence at 6’6″ and 127kg, Martin is set to bring his power and playmaking skills to North London. Despite a few injuries last season, he’s already earned 21 caps and is seen as one of the most promising young forwards in the league. Saracens are buzzing to add his drive and talent to their lineup.
