🚨 Shocking Video Alert: Pony Dragged Behind a Vehicle 🚨
A distressing video has surfaced showing a man from Brecon using a rope to drag a pony behind a vehicle down a sloped field. Geoffrey Williams admitted to this cruel act, claiming it’s a method he’s used for years to “break in ponies.” 😟
Unfortunately, this outdated and harmful practice has left the poor pony with potential physical injuries and a lifelong fear of handling. 🐴💔
Williams was taken to court and has now been fined £1,000, along with £400 in costs and a £400 victim surcharge. The case was brought by the RSPCA, who used three videos as evidence of this disgraceful behaviour.
RSPCA Inspector Keith Hogben expressed, “All animals should be trained using kind, ethical methods by qualified professionals. A reward-focused and gentle approach is essential for the welfare of equines.” 🐎✨
The shocking footage highlights the urgent need for better education and modern, humane training methods for all animals. Let’s hope this serves as a wake-up call for anyone still using outdated practices. 🌟
