🎤🎸 Surprise of a lifetime! Shoppers at a local Aldi couldn’t believe their eyes (or ears) when the incredibly talented Lewis Capaldi popped up on the roof for a surprise gig! Dubbed “Cap-Aldi” for the day thanks to a cheeky sign change, the singer transformed an ordinary shopping day into an unforgettable experience.

Only a few days after dropping his new track “Something in the Heavens,” Capaldi wowed the crowd with performances of “Survive” and his smash hit “Someone You Loved.” Imagine popping in for groceries and ending up at a private concert! The crowd was buzzing, and it’s safe to say that Aldi shoppers got more than just a bargain haul.

Capaldi’s surprise rooftop gig aligns with his grand UK arena tour that’s already a scorching success – he’s sold out an incredible 200,000 tickets! With the UK and Irish shows lined up for next summer, including a huge double-header at London’s BST Hyde Park, it’s clear Capaldi’s back with a bang after his two-year break.
Speaking of the spontaneous act, Capaldi joked: “Capaldi on the roof of an Aldi—sorry if I interrupted any shopping! I was just there, great produce by the way, from brioche buns to carrots!”
Julie Ashfield from Aldi UK chimed in, saying: “It feels like this moment was written in the stars! Our customers experienced something truly extraordinary, turning a normal shopping day into supermarket history!”
Keep an eye out for more pop-up performances and grab your tickets for those summer gigs – they’re sure to be legendary. 🎶✨ #LewisCapaldi #CapAldi #SurpriseGig #MusicMagic
