🚨 **High-Speed Chase in Rhondda Cynon Taf! 🚔**

28-year-old Corey Eaves caused chaos recently by driving at a reckless 80mph in 20mph zones, leaving both neighbours and police stunned. It all began when Eaves decided to steal a friend’s partner’s Nissan Juke, and the situation escalated dramatically from there.

Police spotted the vehicle shortly before 1am and attempted to intercept Eaves using a stinger, but he was determined to keep the thrill going. Even after making contact with a police car and causing £7,000 worth of damage, Eaves sped off into the night, navigating the narrow streets at breakneck speeds. 🚗💨

His joyride came to an end when he stopped and tried to flee on foot, but officers were quick to catch him. 🍺 Breathalyser tests showed he was over the drink-drive limit, and to top it off, Eaves was driving while disqualified! Only a couple of days prior, he was caught nicking beer from a local petrol station.
At Cardiff Crown Court, he pled guilty to a string of charges: dangerous and drink driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance, and theft. It turns out, Eaves has a history of trouble with the law. Judge Eugene Egan didn’t mince words, describing his behaviour as “utterly disgraceful.” 😡
Eaves will now spend 16 months behind bars and faces a four-year driving ban once he’s out. His lawyer noted he’s been working on changing his ways while in custody. Let’s hope it sticks this time! 🧑⚖️
Such reckless behaviour puts everyone in danger. Remember, road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Stay safe out there, folks!
