This Saturday morning, a man found himself in a bit of hot water when he got stranded by the incoming tide at the stunning Worms Head, Rhossili. Luckily, the brave RNLI crew from Horton and Port Eynon were on the scene in no time, making sure he made it back safely.

Apparently, the man, visiting from South Wales, misjudged the tide timings—easy to do on a lovely sunny day with that strong south-easterly wind blowing. The RNLI was quick to remind all beachgoers about planning walks around the tides. The causeway to Worms Head typically has a two-and-a-half-hour window around low tide, so it’s crucial to keep an eye on those timings. 📅
