🚰🌞 **Water Alert in Wales!** 🌞🚰

Hey everyone! As we bask in this incredible run of sunny days, Welsh Water is working tirelessly to keep our water flowing smoothly. With scorching weather causing water demand to soar, especially in Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Hereford, they’re pulling out all the stops!
For weeks now, over 1,000 megalitres of water have been pumped into our networks daily—17% more than usual. So, what’s the scoop? Our water towers are struggling to refill as quickly as we’re using them. But fear not, Welsh Water’s around-the-clock teams have got it covered—with treatment plants running full throttle, tankers on the move 24/7, and quick-fix crews tackling leaks as they arise.

Kit Wilson, the chief customer officer, says they don’t want to limit water usage, but if this high demand continues, all options are on the table to safeguard supply for everyone. It’s a team effort, so let’s come together and be water-savvy! 🚿💧
**How can you help?** 💪😇

Small actions can lead to a big impact. Try reducing water use where you can, like taking shorter showers or switching off the tap while brushing.
Let’s enjoy our summer while keeping our water supply resilient! 🌊☀️ Every drop counts! 🥰💦
Stay hydrated, stay sun-smart, and let’s make every litre count! 🌿💙
