🌍 The owners cited rising expenses due to conflicts abroad and changes in UK government policies that have impacted the hospitality sector. These economic pressures, alongside a decrease in customer numbers, made it tough to keep the business going.
💔 The owners have poured their heart and soul into The Cliffs, and it’s evident in their heartfelt farewell. Despite overcoming challenges like the long-lasting effects of Covid, recent financial constraints have proven overwhelming.
🩺 Health reasons have also played a part – one of the owners, Block, has been battling declining health following previous heart issues, prompting a reluctant but necessary step back.
