🌴 Holiday Turned Nightmare: Welsh Mum’s Incredible Survival Story 🌟

What was meant to be a sunny escape to Tenerife turned into a life-or-death battle for 33-year-old Jade Bird from Abergele. Just hours before her flight home, Jade was hit by a splitting headache and earache at the airport. Rushed to a hospital, a scan revealed a brain infection that rapidly developed into meningitis. Things took a dire turn as doctors had to put her in an induced coma, fearing she might not wake up again.
Jade’s family immediately flew out to be by her side, and a campaign raised funds to support their stay and Jade’s recovery. Jade miraculously pulled through and managed a slow but steady recovery. She finally flew back home on March 26, yet her battle isn’t over. Admitted to an emergency department again, she now faces further treatments. But she’s grateful to be back with her daughter, Skyla. 💕

In a heartfelt message, Jade thanked everyone who supported her and donated. She shared that the funds not only helped her family but also allowed them to donate to “Tommy’s Journey”, a cause close to her heart. Tommy, a young boy like her daughter, is facing a tough fight of his own.
Jade expressed immense gratitude for the care she received and the overwhelming support from people near and far. She reflects on life with a newfound appreciation, cherishing every moment with her daughter. Despite recently losing her dad, Jade and Skyla are finding strength in each other’s company.
Let’s rally around stories like Jade’s to remind ourselves of the strength of the human spirit and the power of community. 💪❤️
Stay strong, Jade! Your courage is an inspiration to us all. 🌟 #JadesJourney #CommunityStrength #MeningitisAwareness
