🎉 Excitement is in the air as the Wales Airshow swoops back into Swansea this weekend! 🎉
Here’s what you need to know, especially if you’re hitting the roads: mark your calendars for July 25th and 26th. While world-class pilots dazzle with their aerial skills above, there will be some road disruptions below to make room for the spectacle!
🚗 Road Closures & Restrictions:
– From Friday noon (24th) to Monday 5am (27th), Oystermouth Road / Mumbles Road will see changes. Keep an eye out for westbound closures and parking restrictions.
– Saturday morning (25th) kicks off with full road closures in both directions on Oystermouth and Mumbles Roads. Diversions are in place to keep things moving.
– Expect additional closures around Guildhall Road, so plan your routes accordingly. Access to the Marina and other key points will remain open with short diversions.
🚴♀️ Heads up for cyclists: The Swansea Promenade will be off-limits from Thursday (23rd) morning till late Tuesday (28th). Emergency access is assured throughout the event.
