🎉 A Miracle in Birmingham: Oshay’s Survival Story 🎉

Meet Oshay Woolley – a brave teen who’s lucky to be alive after a chilling encounter with a zombie knife. Oshay, just days shy of turning 16, was walking home for dinner in Winson Green when a masked assailant stabbed him in the chest and slashed his arm. This terrifying incident left his mum, Sharday Gibbs, in sheer panic with fears she might lose her only son.

Doctors were baffled by how Oshay managed to survive such a vicious attack. His recovery journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Despite severe injuries, including a leaky lung and damaged tendons, Oshay pulled through surgery and was discharged just in time to celebrate his 16th birthday on August 27th!

However, his road to recovery is long. He’s grappling with PTSD and nerve damage that requires therapy. For Sharday, the emotional scars run deep. “He almost didn’t make it to his 16th birthday. I’m still having nightmares,” she shared. Yet, her determination to raise awareness about the devastating impact of knife crime remains strong.
West Midlands Police continue to investigate the incident. They’re urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring justice for Oshay and his family.
As we rally around Oshay, let’s keep the conversation going about the consequences of knife violence. Spread the word, share his story, and let’s make our communities safer for everyone. 💙
Stay safe, stay hopeful! ✨
