Cardiff Drama: Guest Flees Hotel After Shocking Find! 😱
In a night he won’t forget, a guest at The Royal Hotel, Cardiff, was in for a surprise when he dropped his phone under his bed in the early hours. As he reached down to retrieve it, he discovered something rather unexpected—a sex toy! Talk about a wake-up call!
Already suspicious about the room’s cleanliness due to marks on the bedding, this was the final straw. The guest promptly packed his bags and left by 2:14 am, leaving hotel staff with a colourful surprise at reception to drive his point home.
After lodging a formal complaint, the hotel responded ten days later with a full refund and apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused. However, they didn’t cover his £12.80 parking fee, citing that the parking was managed by a third party.
In response, the hotel addressed the issue seriously and announced measures to improve their housekeeping standards, ensuring that such oversights don’t happen again.
What do you think—was the guest right to flee, or was it just an amusing mishap? Let us know your thoughts!
