🚗🏁 Eleven Cars, One Day – And the Winner is… an EV? ⚡️

Imagine getting the keys to 11 diverse cars, from the ultra-luxurious Rolls Royce Black Badge Ghost (£350,000!) to the stylish BMW M2 and rugged Land Rover Defender. Now, guess which one stole the show? Surprisingly, it was the humble Renault 5 (£22,995), a fantastic electric vehicle (EV) that had me grinning from ear to ear!

At the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit, I joined an exhilarating media day where journalists could test drive a variety of cars both on the track and public roads. In just six hours, I had an unforgettable motoring marathon. Here’s why the Renault 5 outshone even the poshest of contenders.

🏆 Renault 5 – This EV wonder has swept 44 awards, including the UK Car of the Year 2026. With its impressive handling and agility, navigating the UK’s unpredictable roads was a dream. It’s proof that you don’t need a fortune to enjoy a fantastic driving experience.
💼 Runner-Up: Rolls Royce Black Badge Ghost – Driving this beast felt as prestigious as meeting royalty. Smooth, powerful, and simply majestic, it’s a car you won’t forget. Every drive is an experience that reminds you why Rolls Royce is synonymous with luxury.
🏎️ Third Place: Alpine A110 R – Take it to the track with pro racing guidance, and you’re in for a thrilling ride. It’s light, nimble, and a joy to handle at breakneck speeds. Navigate corners with finesse and feel like a racing legend yourself!
Each of these remarkable rides had their own unique charm, but the Renault 5 captured my heart. It just goes to show that cutting-edge technology doesn’t have to come with a jaw-dropping price tag.
Swipe through my pics from the day and let me know which of these cars you’d love to take for a spin! 🚗💨
