🚤 Exciting rides or reckless behaviour? In Conwy Harbour, a small group of jet ski riders are causing waves—literally and figuratively. They’re ignoring the 10-knot speed limit and zooming through the water at alarming speeds, some reaching up to 40 knots, all while having young children on board!

😟 The harbour master, Matt Forbes, is on high alert. Though most jet ski enthusiasts follow the rules, it’s the daring few who are putting everyone at risk, especially in narrow channel areas between Deganwy and the beacons.

📹 With CCTV cameras on the lookout, catching these speedsters in the act hasn’t been easy. There’s been a close call with prosecution, but one clever rider managed to escape consequences by removing their vehicle’s registration plate. How cheeky!
🚨 To combat this risky behaviour, warning signs are now more visible than ever, and water patrols have been out in force over recent weekends. It’s not all doom and gloom though—most of the time, everyone is sticking to the rules.
⚠️ Safety first, folks! As the weather gets warmer, let’s ensure our waters are a safe place for everyone to enjoy. Keep it within the speed limit and have a blast responsibly! 🌊
