🚨 Big buzz around Swansea City! 🚨
Kim Hellberg is now the top contender to step into the managerial shoes at Swansea City following Alan Sheehan’s exit. The Swedish coach, currently with Hammarby, has become the odds-on favourite after talks with the club. Swansea’s top brass, led by CEO Tom Gorringe and head recruiter Adam Worth, are diving deep into the search, and we might see more updates soon!
Odds spotlight:
– Kim Hellberg: 1/3
– Brendan Rodgers: 5/2
– Michael Carrick: 14/1
– Liam Manning & Russell Martin: 20/1
Meanwhile, there’s been chatter about Russell Martin and Brendan Rodgers potentially returning, but it seems like that’s not happening anytime soon. However, Michael Carrick, ex-Middlesbrough boss, has caught some attention from Swansea insiders, so keep an eye on this development! 👀
In other news, former Swansea scout Connor Rowden has landed a role at AC Milan, stepping into one of the world’s football giants as a Technical Scout. This exciting move also sees him alongside Luka Modric, Swansea’s minority co-owner, who’s currently playing in Italy.
And don’t miss this one: Celtic’s scouting chief, Jay Lefevre, is reportedly set to join Swansea City’s scouting squad, bringing his extensive experience from Celtic, Brighton, and Arsenal. No word yet on his official start, but expectations are high.
