Here’s the latest buzz from the Swansea City camp! Tottenham and Watford are eyeing Swansea Academy’s rising stars, Harlan Perry and Brogan Popham. These 17-year-old Welsh under-19 internationals are making waves, and even Manchester United and City may be taking a peek. Can the Swans keep them?
Meanwhile, any hopes of snagging Minnesota United’s red-hot striker Tani Oluwaseyi have cooled off. With 12 goals in his standout MLS season, the Canadian striker is in demand but not yet at the Liberty Stadium. Rumours of a St Pauli winger joining the ranks are also being played down, as Swansea insiders keep a lid on any potential moves.
Over in west London, it looks like QPR’s swooped in for Wycombe Wanderers’ Richard Kone, leaving Swansea and others sidelined after their bids were turned down. And as Swans prep to host Crawley Town in the Carabao Cup, West Ham loanee Kaelan Casey is eager for more game time after debuting against Middlesbrough.
On the injury front, some relief as captain Ben Cabango’s second-half exit at Middlesbrough was due to a little cramp, not a pesky calf problem from his Spain training. Boss Alan Sheehan praises Cabango’s warrior spirit, ensuring fans he’ll be back leading the charge.
