🏃♂️🚴♀️🏊♂️ Swansea’s streets are gearing up for an epic sporting showdown as the Triathlon makes its big return this Sunday, 24th May! Hundreds of athletes will embrace the challenge with a 750m swim, 20km bike ride, and a 5km run, all wrapping up at the iconic National Waterfront Museum.

To keep everyone safe and make way for these amazing athletes, several roads will be closed from midday to 4pm. If you’re planning a Sunday drive, take note of these closures: East Burrows Road, Somerset Place, Cambrian Place, Burrows Place, sections of A4067, and more. But don’t worry, there’s a crossing point from the marina to the civic centre with possible delays.
Saturday, 23rd May sees registration open from 11am to 5pm at the Dylan Thomas Centre and again on Sunday from 9am to noon. Race day kicks off with a briefing at Prince of Wales Dock at 12:45pm, with the first wave hitting the water at 1pm. Expect the first cyclists back by 2:15pm, and the Swansea 5k starts at 3pm. We’ll be cheering on the last athlete as they cross that finish line by 4pm! 🎉

Whether you’re competing, watching, or just trying to navigate the city, it’s set to be an exciting day. See you there, Swansea! 🌊🚴♂️🏃♀️ #SwanseaTriathlon #SportingChallenge #CommunitySpirit
