If you’re hitting the roads in Wales today, Sunday 19th April, be prepared for a few hiccups. 🚗💨 Major roads are facing closures and disruptions, so planning your journey in advance is a must. Here’s the lowdown:
🔹 M48 Severn Bridge: Westbound lane shut between J1 Aust and J2 Newhouse for maintenance till 20th April. Diversions are in place, but expect delays.
🔹 A48, Crosshands, Carmarthenshire: A lane is down for roadworks from A476 Llandeilo Road to Foelgastell Junction. Delays likely, and it lasts until 24th April.
🔹 A525, Coedpoeth, Wrexham: Lane closed due to works, between Rhos Berse Road and Heritage Way. Until 24th April, 4:30pm.
🔹 A4161 Castle Street, Cardiff: Ongoing work has a lane closed around High Street. This one’s going the distance until 1st April 2027!
🔹 M48 Severn Bridge: There’s a weight limit for lorries due to maintenance. Buses and coaches roll through fine, but this lasts until 27th May.

– A470, Conwy: Long-term roadwork with lights till 30th September 2026.
– A487, Llanarth: Roadworks with lights until 12th June.
– A5, Llangollen: Convoy driving due to roadworks till 23rd April.
