🚨 Traffic Alert! 🚨
Expect major delays if you’re on the M4 in Newport today. Police have halted all traffic due to emergency works on the westbound side, and it’s causing quite the headache for drivers. 🚗💨
Current status: Traffic is at a complete standstill with queues stretching as far as the eye can see. If you’re near Junction 25, Caerleon, heading towards Cardiff, brace yourself for 50-minute delays. The AA reports severe slowdowns between J24 and J25, with average speeds crawling at just 5 mph. 🐢
What’s causing the chaos? Traffic Wales has implemented a “rolling roadblock” to carry out urgent repairs, so it’s best to avoid the area if you can.
