🚗 Alert! If you’re hitting the M4 today, brace for delays! Two collisions are causing major traffic snarls between Cardiff and Newport, with lanes shut and heavy congestion reported. One incident on the eastbound carriageway between J33 (Cardiff West) and J32 (Coryton Interchange) started the chaos, while another crash near Newport between J24 Coldra and J23A Magor is further adding to the traffic woes. Expect a 40-minute lag if you’re heading through these spots.
🌧️ And as if that wasn’t enough, torrential rain threatens to make matters worse. An amber weather warning is in effect across much of South Wales, so keep your eyes peeled for road spray and potential flooding. If you can, check alternative routes or delay your journey to dodge the longest queues.
Keep safe out there, everyone, and stay tuned for live updates! 🛑⏰ #M4Traffic #TravelAlert #StaySafe
