🚨 Traffic Alert: Major Delays on the M4! 🚨
Heads up if you’re travelling this morning! The M4 is at a standstill following a serious accident. Westbound traffic is heavily delayed between J28 A48 (Tredegar Park) and J30 A4232 (Pentwyn Link Road, Cardiff Gate). Onlookers are also slowing down eastbound lanes, so expect some congestion there too.
The current delay is around 53 minutes 🌧️ but could escalate as Storm Claudia rolls in, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. An amber weather warning is in place from midday, so driving conditions are only set to worsen. 🌬️
For those caught up in this mess, a diversion is in place via the A48 past the Garden Centre to Ponprennau and then onto the A4232 Pentwyn Link Road. Drive safe, follow diversions, and pack some patience as emergency services work tirelessly to clear the scene.
For live updates and ongoing coverage, keep an eye on traffic news or your favourite navigation app to avoid nasty surprises. Stay safe on the roads, and if you can, delay your travel until conditions improve.
Remember, safety first! 🚗💨
