💔 Tragedy Strikes on Holiday: Beloved Mum Passes Away 💔
We’re heartbroken to share the devastating news of 74-year-old Ceri Ball’s tragic passing while on holiday in Spain. Ceri, from Rogerstone, Newport, was enjoying a meal with her husband, Glyn, when she accidentally choked on her dinner.
Despite the quick response from Glyn, restaurant staff, and paramedics, Ceri was rushed to Vinaros Hospital. Tragically, the lack of oxygen had caused irreversible brain damage, and she passed away the next day.
Ceri’s family remembers her as the “glue of the family,” a woman full of kindness and love. Her daughter, Lisa, shared, “Mum was the glue that held us together, always loving and proud of us all. She and Dad were soulmates, inseparable since they met 57 years ago.”
In a bid to honour her legacy, Lisa has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise £5,000 for The Repatriation Services Trust, the incredible charity that helped bring Ceri back home.
