Tragic news from Begelly, Pembrokeshire as a local grandmother, Carolyn Codd, 79, lost her life in a heartbreaking accident right outside her home. As Carolyn was helping her husband, Jim, manoeuvre their motorhome, she was crushed against the house by the large vehicle. Despite the quick response from emergency services, she sadly did not survive her injuries.
Remembered as a loving mum and grandmother to seven grandchildren, Carolyn’s sudden passing has left her community and family in deep mourning. An ongoing joint investigation by the police and the Health and Safety Executive is underway to understand the circumstances of this devastating incident.
A full post-mortem report and witness statements are expected by February, with the case set to be reviewed. Our thoughts are with Mrs. Codd’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. 🌹
