Tragic news from Swansea: A young woman, Amelia Mogridge, was found dead in her flat, with a vape still in her hand. The 23-year-old from Oswestry lived on Kilvey Terrace and was discovered by her flatmate on June 19. It came after concern grew when Amelia hadn’t been seen or heard from for hours.
Last seen the previous evening, her flatmate decided to check on her the next afternoon. Shockingly, Amelia was found fully clothed and unconscious, with an open laptop nearby displaying a document on its screen. A post-mortem has been conducted, but the cause of death remains undetermined.
Senior Coroner Aled Gruffydd is leading the inquest, which will reconvene at a later date for further examination. This heartbreaking incident is a reminder of the unpredictability of life and the importance of staying connected with those around us.
