Heartbreaking News This Boxing Day 💔

In the quiet Cotswold town of Stroud, tragedy struck a family on the early hours of Boxing Day. A house fire claimed the lives of three precious souls: Fionnghuala Shearman, a talented fashion designer, and her two children, Eve (7) and Ohner (4). Known to many as Nu, Fionnghuala created beautiful bespoke handbags under her brand, Hide & Hammer.

In an unimaginable turn of events, her husband, Tom, a dedicated police officer with Gloucestershire Police, made valiant efforts to save his family but was thwarted by the ferocity of the blaze. Despite his injuries, Tom survived, but the loss has left him deeply devastated.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in the early hours, fighting against a severe and well-developed fire. Although the blaze is not considered suspicious, investigations into its cause are ongoing.
In this time of grief, the community has rallied around Tom. An online fundraiser set up to support him has seen incredible generosity, with over £225,000 already donated. Our hearts go out to Tom and everyone affected by this unimaginable tragedy. Let’s continue to support and uplift this family as they navigate through this profound loss.
Sending love and strength to Tom and all those who loved Nu, Eve, and Ohner. 💔
