Tragic news from a Jet2 flight to Manchester Airport. Callum Kerr, a father and bareknuckle boxer from Warrington, sadly passed away after an onboard incident. Witnesses say Callum became disruptive during the flight from Larnaca, reportedly after consuming a significant amount of alcohol. In a chaotic scene, fellow passengers restrained him after he allegedly turned aggressive, even headbutting another passenger.

Police were alerted to an assault on board and arrived as the plane landed in Manchester. Passengers and crew found Callum in a critical state, with officers performing CPR and calling for a defibrillator. He was rushed to hospital but later died, leaving those who knew him in shock and mourning.
Social media tributes are pouring in for Callum. Friends and family are expressing their disbelief and sorrow, sharing memories of his “cheeky grin” and bright spirit. The incident, now under investigation, has left many grappling with the sudden loss.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed an investigation into the disruptive behaviour that preceded Callum’s critical condition. A Jet2 representative also noted that the flight had requested a priority landing in response to the situation on board.
Our thoughts are with Callum’s loved ones during this difficult time. RIP Callum Kerr.
