đź’” A Heartbreaking Loss and a Legacy of Love đź’”

We’re heartbroken to share the sudden loss of Caitlin, a vibrant 24-year-old who passed away while bravely fighting leukaemia. Diagnosed in 2025, Caitlin and her twin sister, Grace, discovered they were identical twins—a revelation that sparked headlines during Caitlin’s urgent battle for a stem cell transplant.

Caitlin initially reached remission after months of treatment, but the cancer’s return led her family to seek life-saving therapy abroad, launching a heartfelt fundraiser which quickly gathered significant support. Tragically, Caitlin suffered a brain bleed and a series of strokes, passing peacefully on June 15th, surrounded by her loving family.

Grace shared tender last moments with her sister, playing piano and sharing cherished comforts. “She told me she was scared of dying slowly,” Grace recalled. “I’m grateful it was quick, and she didn’t know.”
Caitlin’s family remembers her as warm, funny, and endlessly kind. Her brother Ethan cherishes their “sibling banter,” while her mum, Jennifer, praised her daughter’s independent and spirited nature.
Despite her own battle, Caitlin selflessly focused on helping others, even creating memory boxes for patients. Her dad, Ian, admired Caitlin’s fighting spirit and her refusal to lose hope.
The family paused their GoFundMe after raising £127,722, with plans to honour Caitlin’s courageous legacy through significant donations to charity and initiatives like tree planting, memorial plaques, and a hospital piano.
Caitlin’s touch on this world was as bright as her smile. Her memory will inspire kindness, courage, and love for years to come. 🌟
