💔 Heartbreaking news from Inverness: the Lingard family is devastated by the sudden loss of their beloved three-year-old son, Daniel. This bubbly little boy, who could light up any room with his smile and charm, passed away unexpectedly on April 25. 💔

Daniel was feeling unwell with a temperature the night before, but despite his parents doing all they could, he didn’t wake up the next day. The family is waiting for answers from a post-mortem, which may take months.

His dad, Andrew, describes the pain of losing Daniel as “an odd nightmare” and reminisces about his son’s joyous nature: “He loved singing, dancing, and pretending to be a T-Rex. His favourite film was Cat in the Hat, which he could recite by heart.”

The family has been overwhelmed by community support and comforting messages. Andrew’s brother is now gearing up to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon in memory of Daniel, with aims to raise funds for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital, which provided invaluable support during this trying time. 🏃♂️
“The hospital went above and beyond,” Andrew noted, saying they’ll continue to support them through fundraising efforts. A GoFundMe page has been set up in Daniel’s memory, with targets inspired by his birthday.
Every share and donation in memory of Daniel helps. Let’s make sure his joyous spirit continues to touch hearts far and wide. If you can, contribute or share to honour the little boy who left a big impact. 🌟 #DoItForDaniel #InLovingMemory
