Jason started as a self-proclaimed “rent-a-gob” on social media, always in for a heated political debate. But instead of just talking, he decided to take action, and what a journey it’s been! Hailing from Pontypool and growing up in Cwmbran, he spent a decade in the aerospace and defence sector before diving into politics.
Initially an independent councillor, Jason focused on hyper-local issues like bins and potholes. But soon enough, his political path led him to become one of the key figures in Reform UK here in Wales. 🌟
He’s been in the thick of it, going from a brief stint with the Tories to joining Reform UK, where he became one of their first councillors in Wales. Fast forward a bit, and he’s now a mover and shaker in the party, helping it grow exponentially!
Jason passionately supports centre-right ideas, advocating for fiscal conservatism, social liberalism, and good old family values. He believes in boosting business and using the tax system to support families – aligning perfectly with Reform UK’s ethos.
The Reform UK party is now making waves as the official opposition to the minority Plaid Cymru administration, and Jason’s role is pivotal. He’s on a mission to make sure every pound spent is justified and is keen to keep everyone in check. 💼🔍
His ambitions don’t stop at politics – he dreams of bringing high-quality jobs to the valleys, inspired by his own start in a life-shaping apprenticeship. With Merthyr’s burgeoning defence manufacturing sector, he’s hopeful for the region’s economic revitalisation.
