✈️ **Travel Update for Brits in the Middle East!** ✈️

If you’ve been feeling a bit grounded lately, here’s some news! Dubai International Airport has announced that a limited number of flights to the UK are resuming, bringing much-needed relief for British travellers stuck in the Middle East. Due to ongoing tensions involving Iran, the US, and Israel, airspace across the region has been severely restricted, causing major travel disruptions.

🔍 **What’s the plan?** Emirates has announced it will operate a couple of flights to Heathrow and one each to Gatwick and Manchester. Some lucky passengers might even fly on the massive A380, fitting up to 615 travellers!
🛑 **Before you pack your bags:** Make sure you have verified your flight details. Dubai International has advised not to visit the airport unless your airline has confirmed your flight. Keeping up with the latest updates via your airline’s app or website is strongly recommended!
⚠️ **Heads up:** Changes in flight schedules could happen on short notice due to the evolving situation in Iran. The airport has prioritised departing flights, but clearing the backlog could still take some time. Aviation expert John Strickland pointed out that resolving the passenger backlog might take weeks, thanks to high traffic volumes and large aircraft capacities.
📅 **What’s next?** British Airways has cancelled some of its flights to and from the Middle East and is letting travellers with bookings till March 15 reschedule to fly by March 29. So, patience is key!
Stay tuned for more updates, and safe travels wherever you may be headed! 🌍✈️
