**Urgent Plea: Dad Critically Ill in Turkey After Holiday Accident** 💔

A family holiday turned tragic for John Kearney, 64, who is now fighting for his life in a Turkish hospital after a scooter accident. While on holiday with friends in İçmeler, Marmaris, John suffered a severe head injury, and doctors have asked his family to come and say their goodbyes.

John’s daughter, Joanna, shared the distressing situation: “When I got the call, it felt surreal, like something out of a TV show. It’s hard to process all this.”
The family rushed to Turkey, faced with the heartbreaking news that John’s life support could be turned off soon. “We flew down immediately,” Joanna said, “but visiting him has been difficult due to hospital restrictions and language barriers.”
Amidst this turmoil, Joanna is grappling with the fact that John’s insurance isn’t covering his hospital bills because he wasn’t wearing a helmet—none were provided when he rented the scooter. The Kearney family is now facing hefty medical expenses and the daunting task of possibly bringing John back home.
To help with these overwhelming costs, a fundraiser has been set up. Joanna remains hopeful: “We’re waiting to see if there is any brain activity once the swelling reduces. It’s a hard time for us all.”
If you’d like to support John’s recovery, you can contribute to the family’s fundraiser. Your help could make a world of difference in this difficult time. 🙏💙
