Meet Kyle Newby, a dad-of-four from Littleover, Derbyshire, who’s turning the messy business of picking up dog poo into a lucrative side hustle! Earning around £24,000 a year, Kyle charges £30 for a first-time visit and £15 a week thereafter to keep your garden clean from your furry friend’s mess. Inspired by the booming business in the US, he launched “Pet Poo Pick” in March, and the demand is soaring!

With 35 regular customers, most of whom are unable to do the task themselves, Kyle is making a real difference. “I’ve had lots of requests from elderly and disabled folks who need a hand,” Kyle shares. He works just 12 hours a week, spread over two days, but hopes to expand even further this year.
And it’s not just dog waste he’s tackling. Kyle’s also mowing lawns for those who struggle with the upkeep, making sure gardens look their best. Equipped with a scooper and disinfectant, Kyle takes 10-15 minutes per garden, driving across regions to serve everyone from Long Eaton to Newark.

Kyle mentions, “I earn more in a day doing this than a full day in construction, and it’s gratifying to help people out.” But not everyone sees the appeal, with some trolls labelling it needless. Kyle’s response? “If someone’s mum can’t pick up the poo, we’re here to help.”
His clientele includes people like Peter, who, due to a broken leg, needs help with yard maintenance. Peter praises Kyle’s service, especially appreciating the thorough cleaning. Kyle’s business isn’t just about picking up poo; it’s about making life a little easier for those who need it most.

With customers even from as far as Liverpool and County Durham, it’s clear he’s onto a winner. If keeping things clean while earning cash sounds tempting, Kyle’s story might just inspire you! 🐾💼 #PooToPounds #HelpingHand #SideHustleSuccess
